Shelley Harrison is the owner of Central Hawkes Bay Education. Shelley trained as a Primary School teacher at Palmerston North Teacher’s Training College with special talents in maths & science subjects. Tutors at In2Learning are all qualified teachers who choose to work in the relaxed environment of the CHB Centre. Having qualified teachers means that they understand the schooling system, they understand the demands of NCEA, and can effectively work with your child to create the best possible outcomes.

Shelley has been providing after-school tutoring in Waipukurau since 2000. In the interests of helping children (& adults) reach their fullest potential in learning, Shelley has trained as an Irlen Screener. Learnings are also presented in a variety of formats, including computer-based and paper-based. Because every child is different, the mode of teaching should be different to accommodate different learning styles.

Shelley and her husband Hugh are both from rural backgrounds in the CHB district. They live on a small farm near the Ruahine foothills.
